4 Morning Routines for Every #GirlBoss

Women all around the globe know that a good start to their morning means they are setting themselves up for a pretty successful day. So why not give a few of these tips a try and see if they help your inner entrepreneur shine a little brighter.

  1. Give Yourself the Time You Deserve

On average, how many days a week do you open your eyes feeling well-rested? Ah, I bet most of us have a meager one to two times a week that we feel like we got all the rest we deserve. So do your mind and body a little favor and get to bed anywhere from an hour to 30 minutes earlier than normal. Once your alarm clock starts going off in the morning, your body will be thanking you big time!

  1. Stretch & Meditate

Time and time again, we are lectured about all of the amazing benefits of stretching. And for good reason—it really is incredible for you! So take anywhere from five to ten minutes each morning and give yourself all the stretches and deep breaths your heart desires.

  1. Eat Your Breakfast

Far too often, we leave such little time in the morning to get ready that we automatically cut out the most important meal of the day. Make yourself a quick smoothie, grab some yogurt, or pop a couple pieces of bread in the toaster. Whatever you prefer for breakfast, make it and eat it. You will find that you are more energized and will be less likely to have a mid-morning burnout.

  1. Gulp the H2O

So many of us struggle to drink enough water throughout the day. It’s easy to forget. You get so tangled up in your work and quench your thirst with coffee rather than water. So take the morning to hydrate your body with a couple glasses of water. You’ll feel fuller and more alert almost instantly.
