Maximize Your Facebook Posts

You’ve got a killer post for your startup’s Facebook page that is decked out with ‘punny’ hashtags and a jaw dropping picture, but instead of getting flooded with billions of ‘likes’ and comments—you’re left with a meager handful of notifications from your grandma and distant cousins. Does this situation seem familiar to you? If so, here are a few quick and easy tips to help boost your Facebook posts while helping your startup gain a larger following.

Know your end-goal

If you have a startup, then you should know what your target audience is and what demographic you are trying to reach. With that said, make sure you nail down exactly what you want your ads to convey to your followers. Are you going for awareness? Sales? Are you trying to attract the general public or other startups? Whatever the case may be, make sure you have the answers so you can craft your posts accordingly.

Be clear and concise

Let’s face it, we are all super busy and don’t have time to read a massive Facebook post. So keep it short, simple, and clear. Try and stay around the 25 to 50 character limit. Be crafty and fun with what you’re trying to say so that people become interested and click on your page to see what else you have to offer.

Test, Test, Test

Come up with a couple of design options for each post. Test them out and see what types of designs get the most traction. By trial and error, you’re bound to figure out what your followers ‘like’ and don’t like.
